We are seeking a highly organised, creative and experienced marketing professional to develop and lead a comprehensive marketing, admissions and development strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Queen’s School at a pivotal time in its development. We are looking for a highly organised, creative and experienced marketing professional with a genuine interest in the independent education sector to lead our Marketing and Admissions team. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a desire to immerse themselves into the community, enabling them to become an authentic ambassador for the school.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Marketing, Admissions and Development will develop and lead a comprehensive marketing, admissions and development strategy that strengthens the school’s brand, enhances stakeholder engagement, and supports enrolment growth. They will also provide strategic leadership to a high-performing team, ensuring all marketing activities align with the school’s mission, values, and regulatory standards while driving innovation and measurable results.

This is a pivotal role in shaping the school’s future, driving pupil recruitment, and elevating our brand with vision, creativity and strategic insight. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A proven track record in marketing, communications, or development, ideally within education or a values-driven organisation.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and storytelling abilities, capable of engaging a diverse range of stakeholders including prospective families, alumnae, and donors.
  • A hands-on, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in independent education.

Remuneration

The role offers a competitive salary which will be dependent on skills and experience.

To recruit the right candidate and ensure the best fit for both the individual and the organisation, the school is willing to accept applications from candidates seeking a role on a reduced FTE of 0.8, up to full time. Therefore, candidates are encouraged to detail their desired working pattern on their applications.
