School Lay Chaplain

Farnborough Hill is looking for an exceptional Chaplain, who is a practising Roman Catholic, and who will be a central figure in the life of the School, nurturing faith and Gospel values across the many strands which make up our community.

Excellent pastoral skills are imperative, to support both pupils and staff, alongside the vision to take forward the strategic development of Chaplaincy at Farnborough Hill. This is an opportunity to work in a highly-regarded and successful girls' independent school with motivated pupils and a very supportive ethos.

The role is part-time but could be combined with a teaching role, should a suitable subject vacancy be available. It is a requirement of the post that our Chaplain is a practising Roman Catholic.

The successful candidate should be prepared to play a full role in the life of the School and be able to offer a contribution to the co-curricular programme.

Salary according to qualifications and experience on Farnborough Hill’s own generous pay scale, contributory pension scheme, ‘Death in Service’ cover (four times salary paid to next of kin as a lump sum), on-site parking, and a remission of fees for a daughter attending the school (in line with the current policy, subject to the usual standards and procedures for admission).
