An exciting opportunity to join our small and friendly team in a growing independent school. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Office Manager and Registrar to join our team. The Office Manager and Registrar will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient administrative processes within the organisation. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic daily running of the school including finance, admissions, premises and data management.
Purpose of the job:
To provide administrative functionality and support to all members of the school community.
To ensure the efficient and effective running of the office, admissions and finance functionality at the school.
The successful candidate will have a positive, pleasant and professional manner, with a “can do” attitude and a flexible approach to working within a team. Reliability and trust-worthiness with confidential information is essential. They will also be able to establish excellent working relationships with colleagues as well as be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and visitors to the School.
Previous school office experience and experience working with Xero (or similar) would be an advantage, a sense of humour a must and the ability to be proactive and a team player essential.
