Thornton College is a leading independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls set within 25 acres of beautiful parkland just outside Buckingham and within easy reach of Milton Keynes, and conveniently located between Oxford & Cambridge.

Thornton College is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant 4 days per week. Monday 9am – 5:30pm; Tuesday 9am-4pm; Wednesday 9am – 5:30pm and Thursday 9am-4pm. (Flexible hours may be possible, please include any preferences in your application). This is a Term time only role. The ideal candidate will be not just enthusiastic, but deeply passionate about the safety and wellbeing of the children in their care.

Our most recent ISI inspection report judged the school to be ‘Excellent’ in all areas and our most recent CSI inspection judged the school to be ‘Outstanding’ in all areas; the successful candidate can be sure of working with a team of extremely dedicated staff in a very motivating, forward-thinking school environment. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued members of our staff.

Salary will be in line with Thornton College pay scales.
