Seeking a Part Time (0.5 FTE) Teacher to join our vibrant Art Department.
Holme Grange School is an independent, co-educational school for pupils aged 9 months to 16 years. We are seeking to employ an Art Teacher to work with students from Year 3 to Year 11 from September 2026. The ability to teach Textiles to the same age groups would be an advantage.
Holme Grange has two Art rooms, the Imagineering Suite with a sewing machine for each student learning textiles, facilities for ceramics including a kiln, and a well-equipped workshop for the associated Design Technology department. Each student has access to a Microsoft Surface in the senior school. The Art Department employs four staff including a full-time Technician.
Our students not only enjoy their work, which takes pride of place around the school and at the end of year show, they also show success with a 100% GCSE pass rates in Art, Craft and Design with Textile Design a new GCSE subject from the academic year 2025-2026. They have been proud winners with entries in national competitions. Students also benefit from trips and workshops.
Professional development opportunities for staff are available and encouraged.
