King's High School is seeking to appoint a part-time Teacher of Food from September 2026.

King's High School is seeking to appoint a part-time Teacher of Food from September 2026. The primary duties of the post holder are to teach food to KS3 and KS4 students, plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of the curriculum. ​

The post will be attractive to someone experienced or new to the profession. We have extensive support for graduates new to the profession as well as early career teachers. It could also be an opportunity for a more experienced teacher to join a small and well-established team.​ This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative practitioner to develop their skills and experience in a highly successful department.

The role includes responsibility for managing resources and equipment, ensuring health and safety standards, contributing to departmental planning, and supporting enrichment activities.​

The successful candidate will also work closely with senior staff in the other Foundation Schools to ensure coordination and consistency and that pupils at King's High School benefit from the best of both worlds.​
