We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Examinations Manager to support the smooth running of examinations management (public and internal) within the school, as well as to undertake some administrative duties.

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Examinations Manager to support the smooth running of examinations management (public and internal) within the school, as well as to undertake some administrative duties.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Examinations Manager, helping to ensure that all aspects of exams processes are effectively covered. They will have excellent administrative and organizational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. They will be required to acquire a detailed understanding of the workings of examinations, both internal and external, in the school and to work efficiently and accurately under the guidance of the Examinations Manager.

The post-holder will need to be available to work for one day per week during term time throughout the year. In addition, they will need to be able to work full-time during busy periods, specifically:

The day before A Level Results day in mid-August until the end of August

The two-week period in early January during which the school runs mock examinations

The period of GCSE and A Level examinations, which normally extends from early May until late June; this period of time also covers the School’s internal end of year examinations

Salary : The Foundation salary support band scale for this role is P16 – P19 (P16 actual salary £8058 to P19 actual salary £8549 per annum). .
