Required to start in late August 2026, we seek to recruit a full-time, part-year Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team to assist with the administration and organisational requirements of the College; alongside other Front of House staff, the post holder is responsible for the day to day running of the busy Front of House.

Required to start in late August 2026, we seek to recruit a full-time, part-year Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team to assist with the administration and organisational requirements of the College; alongside other Front of House staff, the post holder is responsible for the day to day running of the busy Front of House.

The position involves predominantly reception duties as well as some administrative support with the post holder playing a key part in answering general incoming telephone\visitor enquiries and liaising with pupils and parents; building up a good general knowledge of the workings of the school is a key requisite for the success of this post. Additionally, the post holder will need to balance general reception duties and comprehensive administrative support to a mixture of staff.

This is a 37.5 hour a week role, working term time only plus three weeks (39 weeks per annum). The additional three weeks are likely to be worked at the start and end of the summer holiday and will be by mutual agreement with the line manager. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm (with an unpaid hour for lunch).

The starting salary for this role is between D5 to D12 of the Princethorpe Foundation support staff scale, currently £25,106.25 to £27,074.58 per annum full-time equivalent, actual salary £21,567.52 to £23,258.42 based on 39 working weeks, inclusive of holiday pay. Salary is dependent on qualifications and relevant experience.
