We are currently seeking to fill the position of Lead Teacher of Drama with English at LGS Stoneygate.
Are you a passionate and ambitious Drama teacher with a flair for inspiring young minds? LGS Stoneygate is seeking a dynamic Lead Teacher of Drama with English (0.8 FTE) to join our thriving independent school community, starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to take the lead in shaping the future of Drama at Key Stage 4, a subject that is quickly becoming a valued part of our curriculum. You will also contribute to KS3 English, becoming a valued member of our English department.
As Lead for Drama, you'll bring creativity, energy, and high aspirations to the role leading school productions and championing the performing arts across the school. There is also the opportunity to lead co-curricular clubs and enrichment activities, as well as organise trips that inspire and broaden student experience.

- A qualified teacher with experience in Drama and English.
- A creative and motivational leader who can engage and inspire pupils.
- Someone who thrives on collaboration and is excited by the opportunities in a growing subject area.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality lessons and memorable productions.
