Thomas’s Battersea Kindergarten is seeking an encouraging Support Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking prep school.
A very warm welcome to Thomas’s Battersea Kindergarten, which, from September 2026, will fall under the same roof as Thomas’s Battersea.
Currently situated at St Mary’s Church, a stone’s throw away from Thomas’s Battersea, our expert Early Years teaching team gently guides each child to explore their potential, build self-confidence, and develop into inquisitive, capable, and enthusiastic learners. Through imaginative play, hands-on discovery, and carefully planned learning experiences, children are encouraged to think creatively, communicate openly, and develop strong social and emotional skills. Every child is supported to grow at their own pace; developing independence, resilience, and a genuine joy in learning that will stay with them as they move through their school years and beyond.
From September 2026, the Kindergarten will move on to the Thomas’s Battersea site for Upper Kindergarten aged pupils, thus taking our offering from 3 to 13. We are hugely looking forward to making this transition and bringing the teams closer together, whilst ensuring curriculum alignment and seamless admissions from the Kindergarten to Reception.
The Role
Thomas’s Battersea Kindergarten is seeking an encouraging Support Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking prep school.
This is a great opportunity for an innovative Support Teacher to join our collaborative community. We are looking for someone who can quickly generate vision, confidence and respect and who is capable of fostering highly positive working relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
