Dulwich Prep & Senior are looking for an outstanding teacher and, ideally, a specialist science teacher to join our science department.
Dulwich Prep & Senior is an exciting place to work. We are looking for an outstanding teacher and, ideally, a specialist science teacher to join our science department. We invite applicants who are positive, team-oriented, and enthusiastic, with a strong understanding and knowledge of the GCSE syllabus across relevant exam boards. - Ability to teach up to GCSE
- Willingness to become fully involved in the life of the school
Dulwich Prep & Senior offers excellent facilities and resources for its staff and pupils, as well as supportive and energised colleagues, a commitment to professional development, staff wellbeing opportunities, and small class sizes.
Applications for this role must be completed via an application form, along with a cover letter explaining your suitability for this role and a completed Equal Opportunities form, which should be sent to Tamsin Hutson, HR Manager, at [email protected]
- Closing Date: Wednesday 19 March, 9.00am
- Interviews: Week commencing 24 March 2025
- Start Date: September 2025
Interviews must be conducted in person. Observing the delivery of a lesson in person allows us to assess how well a teacher can engage with our pupils and adapt to our curriculum. It also allows us to capture the nuances of classroom management and nonverbal communication.
We reserve the right to appoint at any time during the recruitment process.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo checks with past employers, online checks and an enhanced DBS check.
