Facilities Management Assistant

We are looking for a helpful, reliable, and proactive person to assist our facilities team. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth daily operations and upkeep of the entire school campus.

We are looking for a helpful, reliable, and proactive person to assist our facilities team. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth daily operation and upkeep of the entire school site, including a dedicated Early Years site, sports pavilions, and a swimming pool. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and assisting facility hirers, porterage, basic maintenance tasks, and securing the premises.

We value flexibility and a positive approach to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently while also sharing expertise and supporting colleagues to foster best practices across the team. A commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of your work is essential.

A full UK driving license (including manual vehicles) is required, along with a basic aptitude for general maintenance and handyman tasks. The ability to swim and drive a mini-bus would be helpful.

Working hours will be 1.00 to 10.00pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, you will be expected to work a minimum of two Saturdays each year to cover school events.
