The Royal Hospital School is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Part-Time Contingent Commander to lead and develop its Combined Cadet Force (CCF).
Set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the Stour Estuary and within an hour of London, Royal Hospital School (RHS) is a leading, co-educational boarding and day school providing a full and broad education, fit for the modern world.

Contingent Commander
The Royal Hospital School is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Part-Time Contingent Commander to lead and develop its Combined Cadet Force (CCF).
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with military, cadet force, youth leadership or outdoor education experience to play a key role in shaping a modern and engaging CCF provision within a leading independent boarding school.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for the CCF programme, oversee training and compliance, support volunteer staff, and help promote pupil engagement across all sections.
There may also be the opportunity for the successful candidate to undertake additional responsibilities within the wider co-curricular or activities programme at the School, potentially allowing the role to develop into a full-time (term time plus) position for the right candidate.
